We acquired 2 new birds which are called Rheas which look very similar to Emus.  We have named one Chris and the other Brian.  We have put them in an inside pen as the weather has been quite bad but they will have a new large pen as soon as the weather improves.

Many of us enjoyed a meal at Trevaskis farm, about 20 of us in all.  It was a lovely evening and the staff looked after us really well.

Emily organised a surprise party for the Wednesday group, with lots of food goodies, crackers and we also had a game of pas the parcel.

Log Cabin
Work is speeding along with the Log Cabin.  All interior wood has been sanded and varnished three times.  Kitchen and bathrooms are 90% completed and the floor is almost done.  We hope to be finished by the end of January 2014.
